Having completed his MBBS from the prestigious University College of Medical Sciences & GTB Hospital in New Delhi in 1996, Dr. Kataria went on to pursue an MD in General Medicine from Maulana Azad Medical College (LNJP / GB Pant Hospital), New Delhi in 2000.
